Farage could be forced to face another Clacton by-election within weeks – here’s why

  • A poll by More in Common shows 49 per cent of Britons believe Farage should face a second by-election if he is found to have breached parliamentary rules.
  • The polling also indicates 54 per cent of voters think Farage is being treated like any other MP, rejecting his claim of being singled out by the establishment.
  • A suspension of more than 10 days recommended by the standards commissioner could trigger a recall petition and lead to another by-election in Clacton.
