FAR-RIGHT activist Danny Tommo has been arrested after filming himself slashing a migrant dinghy in the English Channel while a rescue worker was still onboard.
Daniel Thomas, also known as Danny Tommo, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and recklessly endangering someone's life, footage shared online appears to show.
His arrest comes a day after police confirmed they were investigating footage livestreamed by Thomas as he went out to sea in a small boat and attempted to intercept dinghies carrying migrants from France to the UK.
Footage of the arrest, shared online by far-right activist Tommy Robinson, shows Thomas being approached by officers at a petrol station.
An officer can be heard telling him: "I've got information to suggest that you've been involved in some damage."
Thomas repeatedly asks whether he can speak to his children before an officer tells him he is being arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and recklessly endangering someone's life.

He then appears to be placed in handcuffs before the footage cuts out.
It comes after Thomas spent Tuesday afternoon in a small boat on the Channel, filming himself tracking two dinghies as they made their way from France to the UK.
As rescue workers were seen assisting people from the dinghies, Thomas approached one of the inflatable boats and shouted: "Let's get rid of that boat."
He then filmed himself slashing the side of the dinghy with a knife while a member of a rescue team was still onboard, before sailing away shouting "traitors".
The footage was livestreamed to around 100,000 viewers.
Thomas, who previously spent two years in prison for attempted kidnapping, had gone out to sea as a dinghy carrying dozens of people made its way towards the UK.

The incident prompted hundreds of anti-immigration activists to gather in Gosport, Hampshire, on Tuesday night, with some wearing black clothing and face coverings and chanting "send them back".
Protesters had wrongly assumed the dinghy would be brought to the Hampshire coast.
Instead, it docked in Dover, Kent, at around 12.30am on Wednesday after 51 people onboard reportedly refused assistance from a French ship and spent 33 hours at sea.
Six people were arrested following the protest in Gosport.
