Fantasy Premier League managers will be tested in gameweek 28 with several clubs not in action.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Brighton are among the teams missing out due to the FA Cup quarter-finals, creating a quandary in FPL.
Many will be playing their free hit chip at this point, with the deadline for FPL GW28 set at 6.30pm on Friday. Here are our tips:
Ollie Watkins - Aston Villa - £7.4m
After his run of scoring in five consecutive games came to an end, Watkins was back up and running with a strike against West Ham last weekend. Bournemouth are next up, the side with the worst away defensive record in the league.
Philip Billing - Bournemouth - £5.1m
There is every reason to expect there will be goals in Bournemouth’s trip to Villa Park, where the hosts have the second-worst home defensive record. With six goals and a tiny ownership, Billing is a good shout after scoring in both of the Cherries’ last two games.
Miguel Almiron - Newcastle - £5.4m
Faith in the Toon winger understandably dropped during a run of one goal in eight games but his winner off the bench last week will surely earn him a reprieve against Nottingham Forest on Friday night.
Ben Chilwell - Chelsea - £5.9m
Everton head to Stamford Bridge having failed to score in five of their last six trips to the home of the Blues, where Chelsea’s defence is enjoying a decent spot of form. Chilwell boasts a goal, an assist, a bonus point and a clean sheet across his last three games.
Gabriel Jesus - Arsenal - £7.9m
The former FPL shoo-in is back on our radar after returning from a knee injury and bolder managers will introduce him for Sunday’s game with struggling Crystal Palace. The questions are chiefly whether Mikel Arteta will start Jesus, and whether he can hit the ground running.
