Fantasy Premier League tips: Transfer and captain options for FPL gameweek 15 deadline today

Only two gameweeks remain in Fantasy Premier League before the World Cup break.

Managers can make unlimited changes during the stoppage, meaning GW15 and 16 are all you should be focusing on right now.

The gameweek 15 deadline comes at 1.30pm GMT today, leaving plenty of time for players to sweat over Erling Haaland’s fitness.

Harry Kane - Tottenham - £11.6m

Anyone still wavering on Haaland’s fitness would be wise to look at Kane, who faces a leaky Liverpool team on the weekend albeit deprived of strike partner Heung-min Son. He has seven goals in 14 league meetings with the Reds. Along with Rashford and any Manchester City players, he’s a strong captain option, too.

Marcus Rashford - Manchester United - £6.7m

Last week’s winner against West Ham may not have been replicated as he was taken out of the firing line on Europa League duty, but Rashford is a man with fire in his belly ahead of the World Cup squad announcement. Catching Aston Villa, under Unai Emery for the first time, on the counter could suit this still-kinda-cheap midfield option.

Alex Iwobi - Everton - £5.6m

Now is the time to roll the dice on differential options and Iwobi is not actually that big of a risk. Five assists and two goals, ahead of facing Leicester and Bournemouth, make him a good transfer shout.

Kurt Zouma - West Ham - £4.5m

The Hammers enjoy the rare luxury of back-to-back home games to see out this part of the season, hosting Crystal Palace and Leicester with two clean sheets and a Zouma goal in their last three at London Stadium.

Kaoru Mitoma - Brighton - £4.9m

Off to the World Cup later this month, the Japanese winger enjoyed a fine first start for the Seagulls in the recent dismantling of Chelsea, featuring an assist. Barely 5,000 FPL managers have him in their team, how’s that for exclusivity?
