You’ve spent hours poring over the stats, you’ve downgraded your defence to fit in your big-hitters and you’ve finally come in on budget. But still you’re not finished. For now is when the real agonising begins: you have to come up with a decent team name for your Fantasy Premier League side.
Do you try to be funny? Do you try to link it to the club you support? Or do you incorporate the name of a player from your squad, who, let’s face it, may find themselves transferred out after the opening Gameweek?
To help, BT Sport have compiled a comprehensive list of the best for the 2022/23 Premier League season as well as some golden oldies. We’ve picked out the best for each top-flight team and also added a few of our own to see if we can do any better.
