Injuries suck, but they are a part of professional sports. Of course, they’re also part of fantasy sports and betting. In both instances, they can be the difference between wins and losses on a weekly basis.
As a fantasy football manager, you’ll need to know which players are in and which are out. We’re here to help you keep a tab on all of the important ones.
Many of the NFL’s biggest names are going to miss Week 8 with injuries. For fantasy football managers and DFS players, you’re going to want to pay attention to this list.
Here’s a quick look at who will and won’t play, and whose status will be decided on game day.
RB Chuba Hubbard - Carolina Panthers
Panthers ruled out RB Chuba Hubbard for Sunday's game against the Falcons due to an ankle injury.

WR Ja'Marr Chase - Cincinnati Bengals
Bummer. The Bengals’ offense was beginning to hit its stride. On the bright side, at least Chase isn’t headed to the IR.
Ja’Marr Chase is week-to-week with a complex hip injury, but no IR gives him at least a chance to return before four weeks. https://t.co/1AiSqrLsoa

QB Russell Wilson - Denver Broncos
The airplane stretches surely did the trick. Wilson is back as the Broncos QB1 for their London Matchup with the Jaguars.
So it’ll be Russell Wilson against the Jaguars on Sunday. Will be interesting to see how the team plays him, especially knowing he will likely be limited in mobility. https://t.co/kobishGIxV

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Detroit Lions
St. Brown entered the concussion protocols last Sunday. He appears to be on track to play in Week 8.
Amon-Ra St. Brown was upgraded to a FULL practice participant today and is officially listed as Questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins
All signs point to him being out there in what could be a high-scoring affair

WR Allen Lazard - Green Bay Packers
Lazard is out for Sunday night’s game against the Bills after suffering a shoulder injury. Check out his take on what happened to his shoulder last week when suffering the injury.

RB Ezekiel Elliott - Dallas Cowboys
It sounds like Zeke will not eat in Week 8. He’s officially listed as doubtful.
Officially, Ezekiel Elliott is doubtful for Sunday's game vs. Chicago. Team weighing whether next week's bye would make him healthier for rest of season. Hunch: he sits.

WR Brandin Cooks - Houston Texans
Interesting. Cooks was a full participant in practice all week long but appears on the injury report. Trade coming?

TE Darren Waller - Las Vegas Raiders
Waller will either play for the first time since Week 4 or miss his third straight game. Hammy injuries are tough to deal with.

WRs Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf - Seattle Seahawks
Truly a “wait and see” approach when it comes to Seattle’s two receivers.
DK Metcalf “did some stuff” and “ran around” today, Pete carroll says. Tyler Lockett didn’t do much. They’re both game-time decisions, Pete says.
— Dugar, Michael-Shawn (@MikeDugar) October 28, 2022
WR Devante Adams - Las Vegas Raiders
All signs are pointing to Davante Adams playing on Sunday. Of course, he is listed as questionable. So, we’ll see what happens.
Davante Adams officially draws a questionable tag, but based on a very brief conversation and his demeanor in the locker room, I'd say he's playing #Raiders

RB James Conner - Arizona Cardinals
Make that three missed games in a row for Conner.
Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is OUT again in Week 8.

WRs Jarvis Landry, Michael Thomas - New Orleans Saints
Injuries continue to do a number on the Saints this season. Thomas will miss his 5th consecutive game. Landry will miss his fourth.
Dennis Allen rules out Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry against the Raiders, says he doesn't have a timetable for their return but he is optimistic they'll play again this season.
Thomas will have missed 5 games, Landry 4. Why weren't either of them sent to injured reserve?
— John Sigler (@john_siglerr) October 28, 2022
TE David Njoku - Cleveland Browns
It’s probably going to be a little while before we see Njoku on the field again. A calf injury will keep him from playing on Monday night against the Bengals.
CB Denzel Ward (concussion, TE David Njoku (ankle) and OG Wyatt Teller (calf) all ruled OUT for MNF vs. Cincy #Browns

Deebo usually cooks the Rams. He won’t be able to do so this Sunday due to a bad hammy.
The #49ers rule out WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) for Sunday's game vs. the #Rams.
