You’re waking up on Tuesday reading all that you can about the players that you should be picking up off the waiver wire as you prepare for Week 10 of fantasy football in 2023.
But it’s likely there aren’t as many things written about who you should be dropping to grab those players. That’s what this weekly column — keep ’em or dump ’em! — will hopefully answer for you: Some help in the debate over who you should keep or drop in order to improve your team.
Not the biggest of waiver wire weeks, but still: let’s dive in to help you with who to keep or drop.
1
RB Darrell Henderson, Los Angeles Rams
I think you can safely drop him. He hasn’t been that great for the Rams, the Seahawks loom in Week 11, and Kyren Williams should be back soon.
VERDICT: Drop him
2
WR Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
He’s caught three passes in the past three weeks and has a bye in Week 11. Fine, but maybe he comes back healthy in Week 12. Hang on to him.
VERDICT: Keep him
3
RB Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears
Khalil Herbert should be back soon, and he lost carries to D’Onta Foreman. You know what to do.
VERDICT: Drop him
4
TE Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
Even with Matthew Stafford returning and tight end issues around fantasy football, he’s the most droppable.
VERDICT: Drop him
5
RB Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans
SIGH. You have to keep him. You just never know, even with Devin Singletary looking way better.
VERDICT: Keep him
6
WR Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints
He’s been bad as of late and mediocre overall. I’d be fine with dropping him.
VERDICT: Drop him
