Week 6 of the 2023 NFL season is nearly over, with one more game to go on Monday night.
And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 7.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we’ll update this after the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers play on Monday Night Football.
1
RB Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers
Elijah Mitchell might be the No. 1 back if the injured Christian McCaffrey misses any time … but it’s Mason who could step in.
2
RB Elijah Mitchell, San Francisco 49ers
See above.
3
RB Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers
It might be too late to get him, but it feels like after Sunday’s performance and his trending up in the last few weeks, he might be the No. 1 back even when Miles Sanders returns.
4
RB Craig Reynolds, Detroit Lions
If David Montgomery misses any games due to injury, here’s your replacement (sorry for the reminder if you have Jahmyr Gibbs on your team).
5
WR Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Is he the top wide receiver in Kansas City? It’s starting to look that way.
6
QB Sam Howell, Washington Commanders
A whopping 26 fantasy points in Week 5 and three touchdowns in Week 6. And his schedule is enticing!
