The New York Giants (1-1) face off against the the San Francisco 49ers (2-0) on Thursday Night Football.
Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) will miss the game, so make sure you take him out of your lineups. Niners wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) may also be out this week.
Buy Giants TicketsGiants quarterback Daniel Jones and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey are both must-play options this week in year-long leagues.
Here’s three sneaky fantasy plays for you to consider.
49ers defense
Even if the Giants play well on offense, the Niners’ D is a solid play. Daniel Jones has been sacked 10 times so far this year and has turned the ball over three times through the air (although two were not his fault).
With no Barkley to contend with and the Giants deploying yet another new starting offensive line, this seems like a no-brainer.
Giants WR Jalin Hyatt
The Giants were finally able to incorporate Jalin Hyatt into their plans last week. He had just two receptions but they were for 58 and 31 yards.
The Niners were challenged by the Rams’ young receivers last week and Hyatt could get a few shots in on them this week.
Niners K Jake Moody
Jake Moody, a third round pick in this year’s NFL draft, has been perfect this season thus far. He is the first kicker in NFL history to make each of the first six field goal attempts and six PATs of a career since the Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker in 2012. He’s in a good spot here.
