The Seattle Seahawks put together a top-10 scoring offense in 2022, averaging 23.9 points per game, good enough to rank No. 9 in the NFL. Points on the board is always favorable for fantasy football and Seattle should once again have a productive unit this year.
Four Seahawks players have made the cut for Field Yates’ list of the top 100 fantasy football players for the 2023 season. Here’s who they are and where they rank compared to the competition.
QB Geno Smith
Last season Geno Smith racked up 4,282 passing yards (a franchise record), 30 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. As a rusher he totaled 366 yards and one score on 68 attempts. Smith also fumbled eight times. This year he ranks No. 79 overall and No. 12 among quarterbacks on Yates’ list.
WR Tyler Lockett
Tyler Lockett has made a habit of out-performed his average draft position (ADP) in fantasy football every year. In 2022 that meant 84 catches, 1,033 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, his fourth-straight 1,000-yard year. Yates has Lockett ranked No. 49 overall and No. 20 among wide receivers.
RB Ken Walker
As a rookie, Ken Walker managed 1,050 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 228 attempts despite starting just 11 games. He did not fumble once. Going into year 2 for Walker, Yates has him ranked No. 34 in the league on his list and No. 14 at his position.
WR DK Metcalf
Last season DK Metcalf put up 90 catches, 1,048 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 141 targets. Odds are that number will go down with long-awaited true WR3 in Jaxon Smith-Njigba arriving, but Yates still has DK ranked No. 24 overall and No. 12 among wide receivers.
