Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.
Here's your 2022 preview of the Minnesota Vikings, the 24th of 32 team profiles during draft season:
— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Justin Jefferson, WR
Jefferson (ADP: 6) will play the Cooper Kupp "role" in new head coach Kevin O'Connell's face-paced attack. If he approaches Kupp's ridiculous 191 targets from a year ago, we're talking a season in the range of 120-plus receptions, 1,800-plus receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Kirk Cousins, QB
Cousins (ADP: 111) will likely be throwing the ball more in O'Connell's offense. He's being drafted as the 15th QB off the board after finishing as fantasy's QB13, QB18, QB11 and QB11 in his previous four seasons with Minnesota. His Per 17 Games averages over that span: 4,422 yards and 33 touchdowns against only 10 interceptions.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Dalvin Cook, RB
There's no doubt Cook (ADP: 7) produces at an elite level when he's on the field, but he's never made it through an entire NFL season without missing time. In the last three seasons, he's dealt with a dislocated shoulder, groin strain, left shoulder sprain and a torn labrum. Running backs usually don't become more durable as they age.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Ty Chandler, RB
The Vikings are reportedly listening to offers for fantasy handcuff supreme Alexander Mattison, in part, because the North Carolina product has been so impressive — Chandler (ADP: 389) averaged 7.5 yards per carry in three exhibition games.
