The best of delectable summer fruits from across the country take centre stage during Siam Paragon Tropical Fruit Parade 2023 which kicks off today and runs until May 3 at the Parc Paragon in Siam Paragon, Rama I Road.

Held in collaboration with the Department of Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce, the fruit festival brings a plethora of premium-quality tropical fruits straight from 17 top-notch local farms and sources nationwide.

A selection of over 30 durian varieties are available including mon thong and kob mae thao from Nonthaburi; musan king-mon thong durian, a hybrid breed of the two popular varieties; and ochee-mon thong which is unique for its creamy texture and intense and sweet flavour.

Also discover five rare species of Benjaphan durian and dozens of rare finds such as chompu phan, yummawat, thong linjong, med nai yai prang, kan yao si nak, kob suwan, kob phikun, long laplae and nuan thong chan.

A highlight of the festival is the all-you-can-eat durian buffet which features wide varieties of both durian and seasonal fruits such as jackfruit, mangosteen, rambutan, watermelon, mango, pineapple, salak, lychee, coconut and longkong. There are seven rounds a day, each lasting for one hour, at 699 baht per person.
