Southport FC has issued a warning to fans ahead of their last game of the season.
The Sandgrounders will be travelling to Leamington FC on April 29 and the club has told certain fans that they will not be permitted entry into the stadium. The statement comes after concerns were raised by both clubs and the police over organised fights taking place between rival supporters before the game.
The club has now said that anyone with a stadium ban at Haig Avenue will not be allowed into Leamington FC's stadium. Southport has advised, "any such individuals not to travel to the ground."

The statement said: "Leamington FC had brought to their attention attempts by a minority of Southport fans, via social media, to organise pre-arranged fights between the rival groups of supporters (as has also been the case, we believe, at certain recent home Southport games).
"Therefore, and following subsequent discussions with ourselves and the police, the decision was taken to refuse entry to any individual who is the subject of a current stadium ban from either club, which Southport Football Club fully endorses and supports."
Southport has had a repeated problem with fan violence recently, in November last year fights broke out between Southport and Chorley fans. In July their match against Blackpool had to be stopped due to fighting in the crowd.
The statement added: "We do not condone violence, the threat of violence, or the breaching of the National League’s Ground Regulations in any way and will continue to work closely with all relevant authorities and parties to prevent this from being a feature of following Southport Football Club, so as to ensure that fans can attend and watch the games in a safe and enjoyable environment.
"We will continue to work in conjunction with the Police to identify those responsible and ensure they will no longer be welcome at Haig Avenue."
