Fans think Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson ‘throwing glow sticks’ at Bongo’s Bingo is an elaborate April Fools Day prank

Fans were awestruck over the weekend after spotting Hollywood megastar Samuel L Jackson on a night out in Scotland over the weekend. The 74-year-old Pulp Fiction icon attended a bingo style rave on Saturday (April 1) in Glasgow.

Clubbers shared snaps of the acting legend at Bongo’s Bingo in SWG3 as they couldn’t get over their surprise at seeing the American actor enjoying himself at the rave.

Taking to social media, Twitter user @daniellemcdonut said: “My mum, my gran and my aunties went to bongos bingo and Samuel L Jackson is there?? Is that real? I knew he was in Glasgow but why of all things he went to bongos bingo in SWG3??”

The tweet has racked up over 1.2m views has Brits couldn’t get over the star’s UK club appearance.

@rhi_annan tweeted: “samuel l jackson being at bongos bingo on april fools day is the hardest the simulation has been simulating in a while… woke up n still can’t get over this absolute fever dream.”

Rhi then added: “someone said he was throwing glow sticks into the crowd n some lad caught one n was crying saying he was gonna frame it.”

Twitter user Aimee said: “Always expect the unexpected at Bongos xo” while Sarah Lappin tweeted: “I need to know why and how Samuel L Jackson ended up at bongos bingo this is amazing.”

Many fans weren’t convinced the Coach Carter actor was actually there and accused the pictures of being “AI”.

The Marvel and Star Wars actor is currently in Scotland filming a new thriller called Damaged, which is about a Chicago detective who travels to Scotland to investigate an emerging serial killer's crimes.

He shared on instagram alongside his co-star Vincent Cassel, captioned: “When you know sharing the creative space with @vincentcassel would be DOPE if you ever got the chance & it turns out to be even DOPER! #Damagedmovie #meetingyourheroescanbefulfilling”

During his Scottish stay, Jackson also signed a Rangers FC home shirt which will be raffled off to raise money for two charities.

The money raised will be donated to the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation and South Lanarkshire's Kilbryde Hospice.
