Fans spot awkward detail about Jennifer Lopez's Father's Day tribute to Ben Affleck amid divorce rumours

After initial shock that Jennifer Lopez shared a Father’s Day tribute to Ben Affleck amid reports that they are heading for divorce, fans have pointed out a “major flaw” in the social media post.

Affleck is father to three children with actress ex-wife Jennifer Garner – Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

He is also a stepdad to Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, 16, whom Lopez - who has been married four times - shares with third husband, musician Marc Anthony.

J-Lo posted a black and white picture of Affleck from the 2001 film Pearl Harbour on her Instagram Story on Sunday.

“Our Hero. Happy Father’s Day,” she wrote across the image along with a white heart emoji.

The picture, however, is from when Affleck first met Garner.

Affleck played Captain Rafe McCawley in the classic war drama while Garner had a smaller role, playing a nurse named Sandra.

The Hollywood couple, who were previously engaged before a high-profile split in 2004, got married in July 2022.

Rumours have been swirling for months that their relationship is struggling and they could be heading for divorce after almost two years of marriage.Adding fuel to the fire, the Jenny From The Block hitmaker recently “liked” a post about break-ups on social media.

The post shared to Instagram discussed the importance of someone needing to look after themselves as well if they want to build a healthy relationship.

It read: "You can't build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves.

"We can't expect someone to see us when they can't even see themselves.

"Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing and fostering it is a different story.

"After all, love is not a feeling, it's action."
