Fans, smiles, and viking helmets: Best pictures as Arsenal win again on United States tour

Arsenal maintained their 100 per cent winning run in pre-season with a comfortable victory over Orlando City on Wednesday night.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring after just five minutes when his attempt from the edge of the area took a wicked deflection to beat the goalkeeper.

Aaron Ramsdale made a smart stop to deny Benji Michel before Facundo Torres levelled the scores for the MLS side at Exploria Stadium.

In the second half, a fine solo effort from Gabriel Jesus drew a near-post save before the Brazilian showed off his dribbling skills again to draw a sharp tackle which fell straight to Eddie Nketiah to put Arsenal ahead again.

Reiss Nelson made it 3-1 with a fine finish from Bukayo Saka’s ball in to round off the scoring ten minutes from time.

After the game, Mikel Arteta said of the tour: “Those practices and those tours give you a different level of competition against opponents that you don’t really know.

“They are in the middle of the season, so physically they are in a better condition than you and then to play in that heat, I think it brings a good adaption for when we have to go back to the UK.”
