Fans say 'this makes me so happy' as Christine McGuinness shares gushing post and says 'until I met her'

Christine McGuinness has delighted many of her fans as she shared a snap of herself and her best friend saying: "I never understood the importance of friendship until I met her."

The former model shared the post with her 711,000 followers after sharing how she and her friend and business partner Cath had spent their Sunday together both working and tackling looking after their six children between them.

Taking to her Instagram story on Sunday (June 25), Christine said to the camera: "You know that best friend you need who's got kids..." before having to stop to lift up her strap as she nearly flashed the camera whilst walking through her garden braless in a mini purple dress.

"She's my best friend and my business partner but she's got three kids, I've got three kids so that's six between us and it's hard to juggle it so she comes over, she brings me new stuff, I try it on and take pictures and all the kids play together. That's how we're winging our business at the minute but it works."

She was then seen modelling a few of the pieces, including a pink and blue ombre bikini which she wore with a mini sarong before showing the reality of running a business as a mum with your best mate. Lying on a sun lounger as one of her friend's young children appeared in the shot trying to climb on the other bed, she typed: "Instagram VS reality [cyring laughing emojs]. 2 mums - 1 business 6 babies."

But on Monday (June 16), Christine returned to Instagram to gush over her friend as she shared a picture of them both cosied up to one another on the sofa in her Cheshire home which she still shares with her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness.

"Her. I never understood the importance of friendship until I met her," the 35-year-old started the caption of her post. "I always struggled to make friends and didn’t really socialise much at all until my late 20s I’m lucky now to have a handful of people to call my friend."

She added: "Thank you Cath for being there recently, more than ever I needed you and you showed up every time. Here’s to many more meltdowns! More play dates with our babies and hopefully some holidays." Christine rounded off her post by simply adding: "I appreciate you."

And fans were rushing to comment on the post as Christine continues to be a role model and campaigner for those with autism after being diagnosed with the developmental disability aged 33 after all three of her children - twins Penelope and Leo and youngest child Felicity - were all given the same diagnosis.

@alexstanger1993 replied: "I'm pleased to see this post Christine. I'm also autistic and I have similar experience with making / maintaining friendships, so I can appreciate how difficult it might have been for you."

@emily_lemliee shared: "This makes me so happy. My daughter is 10 and doesn’t have proper friends yet so this gives me so much hope for her. I worry so much as friendships are important. So pleased for you to have such a great friend and support." @stuartjoszko74 added: "Well said Christine, friendship works both ways. A true friend is there through thick and thin. Keep the bond."
