Thousands of UK fans have raced to online retailers to try and get tickets to TikTok sensation comedian, Matt Rife's UK tour.
Hours after the first tickets became available to buy on presale fans have shared their frustrations as the seemingly high demand has caused apps like O2 Priority to experience delays and issues. It means a lot of people are missing out on getting tickets early and will have to wait until the rush of the general sale.
The general sale starts this Friday, June 9 on Ticketmaster, as thousands of people are likely to join the queues in what's expected to be a sell-out tour. Fans with O2 Priority have reported not getting access to the early sale despite it being advertised as a 48-hour presale.
Fans have taken to social media to share their frustrations as they cannot get onto the network's app to join the pre-sale access queue. In high-demand events like this, customers with O2 have the chance to get a presale access code which they can then enter into Ticketmaster to buy early tickets.
On Twitter, one fan said: "Logging onto O2 Priority app and then nothing when I get to Ticketmaster?" Another fan tweeted Matt Rife himself to say that the link for the London date was not working.
He said: "The links not working to buy for London UK. Don't want to miss out!"
After today fans will be able to try and join the Live Nation presale queue which starts from Thursday, June 8 at 10am along with the artist presale, however, it's not sure if the same demand issues will be felt.
The 27-year-old rose to fame on TikTok having started his content from his home town in Ohio to building a following of more than 13 million. The UK tour dates follow on from a series of shows around the world in what's to be his biggest tour yet.
