Fans predict Holly Willoughby will be replaced by This Morning regular on Dancing on Ice

Holly Willoughby fans have predicted that she will be replaced by a This Morning colleague on Dancing On Ice.

The ITV programme has been hitting headlines after it was reported that Holly and Phillip Schofield's friendship has "cooled" in recent months, due to an ongoing feud.

It got to the point that former guests and other stars got involved by sharing their two cents on the presenting duo.

Over the weekend, Phillip announced he was stepping down from his post after 21 years on the sofa.

Fans have been hot with predictions about the future of the duo away from This Morning as they usually appear in many programmes and events together.

They even guessed that Holly – who usually hosts Dancing On Ice with Phil – will be replaced on the ice skating competition by Rochelle Humes after she paid a gushing tribute to Phil following his exit from This Morning.

One convinced user took to social media and said: "Prediction: Rochelle Humes will join Phillip Schofield to host #DancingOnIce next year."

"Rochelle Humes clearly wants to replace Holly on Dancing On Ice," another pointed out.

A third made a different guess as they said: "It could be Christine Lampard."

It was recently revealed that Holly is determined to show the public what she's made of after returning from her early half-term break.

After years of being synonymous with Phil, with the two stars often delighting viewers sitting on the This Morning sofa 'hungover' after their annual night out at the NTAs, Holly could be ready to thrive under the pressure and start a new chapter on her own.

"This is a huge opportunity for both Holly and Phil to move on from 20 years on the same show," PR expert Carla Speight told the Mirror.

"20 years is a really long time, it sets expectations with an audience and offers little room for mixing things up and trying new things. But this separation offers them the chance to showcase their talents individually."

Holly had already been building her own individual brand prior to Phil's This Morning departure, with the presenter parting ways with Phil’s agents YMU Group and starting her own PR group three years ago.
