You've Been Framed has been taken off air by ITV after 33 years.
The iconic family show shared funny home video clips giving anyone who submitted one £250 a go. The ECHO understands that there are no new series of the show planned for this year.
With the modern world evolving people can now watch similar clips online at any time. ITV has removed the series from its website and a source told Birmingham Live: “The fact that You’ve Been Framed has been shelved is a sad sign of the times."

They added: "It’s a different world to Jeremy Beadle’s heyday. Why would viewers tune in to a show featuring funny videos when they could see the same sort of thing on the internet?
"Silly clips are hugely popular on social media and the right video can go viral. There’s a thrill in achieving that — even though you don’t earn the £250 fee which You’ve Been Framed paid for contributions."
Fans on Twitter were devastated by the news. One said: "I'm absolutely gutted! I love the soaps and gritty dramas but there needs to be some comedy too. Loved the silly clips, can't it just move to an app similar to Tik Tok?? Rather than lose it completely. Loved Lisa in it #girlpower and Harry too."
Another added: "Call me a sop, but I’m gutted #YouveBeenFramed has been axed! Sure it was the peak of the UK canned laughter show, but I’d much prefer to tune in watching toddlers fall over, teenagers smack into poles or a bride have her dress blown away in the wind any day than join TikTok."
Comedian Harry Hill has been providing narration to the programme since 2004. The series began in 1990, and is currently in its 31st series. The show was first commissioned as a pilot and aired on ITV on 14 April 1990 with Jeremy Beadle as the host. Lisa Riley took over the role as host from Beadle in 1998.
While the programme was presented by Jonathan Wilkes, who replaced Riley in 2003, the studio audience voted for which clip was the best of the night at the end of the show, and the person who sent in the winning clip won £1,000. Harry previously said: “It’s a primeval thing, people falling over. It’s just funny. That’s the main thing, and then the TV clips bring another layer for the grown-ups.
The comedian added: “In 200 years, people will still be laughing about people falling over.” But the comic also revealed a problem producers were having to deal with. He said: "I don’t get to see the long list but I know there are a lot of fakes — and a lot of sex videos."
