Fans desperately want Cowboys to sign Daniel Jones for a Thanksgiving revenge game

With Daniel Jones benched and Dak Prescott injured, the Giants-Cowboys matchup on Thanksgiving sure lost some intrigue and excitement. It wasn’t shaping up to be a good game regardless, but that holiday showdown somehow got worse with Tommy DeVito and Cooper Rush projected to be the starting quarterbacks.

The Cowboys have a chance to do the funniest thing, though.

Jones, who was released by the Giants on Friday, would be the ultimate signing by the Cowboys after he clears waivers. And fans desperately want to see Jerry Jones sign the former Giants quarterback to set up a revenge game on Thanksgiving.

It would certainly be one way to jazz up what is otherwise going to be a snoozefest – or a turnover-filled disaster at AT&T Stadium.
