Football fans believe Cardiff City star Sheyi Ojo is the man behind the masked rapper and social media sensation 'Dide'.
The character released their track 'Thrill' on YouTube 11 days ago, where they are dressed in a mask which is made of metal roses. The lyrics are said to "dive deep into the emotional turmoil and struggles he keeps hidden from the fans". At the time of writing, the song has just over one million views.
'Dide' makes suggestions that he is a footballer who has played in the Premier League, with references like "every game is like a final" and "my team stay winning". With the video being set in London, some claim that 'Dide' could be Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, with the Gunners having a fine season and Dide being an anagram of 'Eddi'.
You can listen to the track below.
However, one Twitter user has matched up a tattoo near the hand if Dide, which is strikingly familiar to that of former Liverpool forward Ojo, who now plies his trade in the Welsh capital. Ojo fits the Londoner profile though, with his roots in Watford.
And many fans on social media believe the rapper's identity has finally been nailed.
In one freeze frame, Dide points towards their head, revealing their wrist beneath their hoodie. Fans also pointed out that the lines on Ojo's neck are similar to Dide's, albeit a bit of a reach. Others have gone as far as suggesting it's Ojo based on the strand of hair that protrudes from the back of the mask.
Rumoured mystery man Ojo joined the Bluebirds on a permanent deal in July last year, and has made 34 appearances so far this campaign.
