Ashley Graham has left several fans amused and baffled after attending a red carpet event in 'bed sheets'. The top model, was snapped looking as glamourous as ever at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend in a stunning Dolce and Gabbana pastel blue gown.
The dress featured an array of gorgeous features, from an off-the-shoulder neckline, a billowing silhouette and endless ruffles to a lengthy train and even a high-leg split. The 35-year-old accompanied the frock with diamond jewellery, courtesy of Chopard, and black stilettos.
The mum-of-three was flaunting her dramatic look on the red carpet of this year's 76th annual Cannes Film Festival. Other stars spotted at the prestigious event include Helen Mirren sporting blue hair, Irina Shayk in a skin-baring leather look and Jennifer Lawrence wearing a Dior couture gown with black flip flops.
Ashley took to Instagram to share her outfit with her 21 million followers as thousands gushed over her beautiful look. However, some couldn't get over how much the gown resembled 'bed sheets'.
Julie_fedi04 joked: "Pov [point of view], when you can't put the duvet on." Derekblasberg added: "Satin sheets but make it FASHION."
Mz.wilson89 quipped: "Okay okay…. This kind of looks like a pile of fitted sheets." Mela.skyy put: "Love ya but this dress reminds me of my grandmas fabric couch cover."
Turquoiseriot commented: "Ashley, you look stunning, but whoever designed that dress looks like they lost a battle with a fitted sheet." Eperea02 wrote: "Nice! You just woke up and took the bed sheets with you lol."
It comes as the Sports Illustrated model revealed she goes to bed with tape across her lips at night. Uploading a picture of herself asleep with pink earplugs in and a small piece of tape across her lips on her Instagram Story, she said: "I started taping my mouth shut when I sleep and I have never slept better - and even better when I wake up. Don't knock it till you try it!!"
Placing tape across your mouth before going to bed has become a popular home treatment for some people over the years in a bid to help breathe through their nose more. Many use the method to avoid snoring or bad breath.
