A FAMOUS Hollywood actor was spotted at a Celtic pub in Glasgow recently.
Celtic-daft James McAvoy appeared at the Brazen Head on Cathcart Road earlier this week.
The Drumchapel-born star is filming his directorial debut, California Schemin', in Glasgow.
Staff said it was a pleasure to welcome McAvoy to the southside establishment and they wished him luck in the production.
Known for his acting roles in Atonement, Split and recently Speak No Evil, McAvoy is turning to directing for the upcoming project.
The film centres around rappers Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd who are fed up with London record producers not taking Scottish rap seriously and dismissing them as "rapping Proclaimers".
McAvoy has been spotted filming in the Barras market and Glasgow Queen Street station, while a free concert was held last month for shooting a scene set in the iconic Barrowlands.
