A family-of-five were left stranded in another country after a "ghost flight" appeared to have left without them.
The dad of the family, who did not want to be named, has vowed to never fly with Wizz Air again after an alleged series of blunders, seeing them left in Italy with no way home. In what was supposed to be the family's first holiday in three years, ended in disaster.
The concerned dad told the Mirror that the airline delayed their flight home from Catania-Fontanarossa Airport to Gatwick several times, before finally cancelling it at 1am on April 18. However, the nightmare continued the next day when they were due to fly home.
