Family's dream holiday turns into 43-hour delay nightmare after TUI axe flights

A family's dream trip to Spain ended in a nightmare with 43 hour delays and being put up in a "filthy"' hotel after TUI axed their flights.

Kelly Ann MacKinnon and her children Layton, 9, and Amelia, 11 months, from Govan travelled from Manchester to Andalusia to join husband Kevin on Wednesday, May 18, for an idyllic family holiday on the Costa del Sol.

Kevin had been in Seville earlier in the week for the Rangers' Europa League final and once reunited, the family enjoyed a perfect week in Benalmadena - before flight delays and a hellish hotel stay ruined the trip, reports GlasgowLive.
