A FOUR-STAR boutique hotel located in the heart of Scotland’s “golf coast” has been put up for sale.
The Nether Abbey Hotel in East Lothian has been owned by the same family for more than 60 years.
The hotel is located in North Berwick, which was voted the UK’s best place to live in 2024 by The Sunday Times.
Property agents Graham & Sibbald say the hotel has been “extensively upgraded and refurbished to provide 12 quality letting bedrooms” while it also features the popular Fly Half bar and restaurant.
It also offers easy connections to the Scottish capital while it is also located in an area described as the “number one golf break destination in Scotland” with 22 courses along the coastline.
The hotel is being sold by Stirling and Jela Stewart as they plan to look forward to their retirement from the hotel trade.
Alistair Letham, a Hotel + Leisure Consultant with Graham + Sibbald, said: “The sale of the Nether Abbey Hotel provides a wonderful opportunity to buy a quality four-star hotel business in a sought-after location, with an impressive established local, national and international client base.
"The Nether Abbey Hotel is truly a turn-key, walk-in property and business.”
Graham & Sibbald are inviting Offers of £1,800,000 for the Nether Abbey Hotel, North Berwick.
