A popular Edinburgh bar is calling on local support in a bid to build a new pizza oven.
Family-run One Canon, at the heart of the Canonmills neighbourhood, say they are hoping to refresh the bar with a new pizza offering, but amid the 'current financial climate', they're hoping punters can help by fundraising.
The One Canon team are asking customers for donations of £5 in return for £5 off their first pizza and owners say they've already raised 20% of their target.

Explaining the 'High Five' campaign, the team say: "We’re currently trying to raise the funds needed to install a pizza menu, and oven into our kitchen.
"We need your help. If you help us out in our quest by giving us £5 we’ll give you £5 off your first pizza!
We’ve got plans to refresh the bar, it’s identity, and offering with the new pizza oven.
"But we’re struggling in the current financial climate to cover all the costs that will be incurred in doing so, we need your support not just in helping to get the perfect pizza oven but also in plates, menus, signage and other associated costs of making the change.
"Get involved below, multiple donations happily accepted, each £5 gets £5 off a pizza so the more pizzas the merrier!"
Owners so they are 'so grateful' for the support they've received so far, with the campaign due to run until September 9 before changes are made in the bar.

Described as the 'home of modern Scottish hospitality', the bar is known for it's all day food offering, beer selection and cocktail menu, as well as being dog-friendly.
