A family's golf fundraiser has raised more than £50,000 in memory of Paisley supermarket worker Danielle McKee.
Angela and Craig McKee, both 53, held a golf day fundraiser in memory of their daughter Danielle, who sadly passed away in 2017.
The fundraiser boosted the Max Appeal, which looks to help support people and families who have been affected by DiGeorge Syndrome, which ravages the immune system and leaves patients more susceptible to illness.
Danielle, who used to work in Morrisons at Anchor Mills, sadly lost her life at the age of 23 just two days after being diagnosed with cancer in November 2017
She has been described as a “fun-loving” young woman who loved going to “exotic destinations”.
DiGeorge is a condition that 1-in-4000 children are affected by, with the disease attacking the body’s defences.

The McKees have made it their mission to keep their daughter's memory and spirit alive by holding an annual event every year where family and friends come together to celebrate the life of Danielle.
The One Love Charity Golf Day at Elderslie Golf Club was held on Friday, June 10 and had approximately 90 golfers taking part along with friends and family.
Angela told us: "We have had this event every year since 2017 and it is important to keep the memory of Danielle alive. The only year we haven’t run it was 2020 due to covid. “
People who turned up on the day were able to win a host of prizes that were donated, including: golf T-shirts, golf trolleys and bottles of whisky .
Attendees were also able to win prizes by entering raffles and football team scratch cards that could land them anything from the golf items to meal vouchers.
In total, The One Love Charity Golf Day has raised more than £50,000 for good causes and this year's total is currently sitting at a mighty £9000.
Angela added: “Craig and his workmates did a Kilt Walk earlier in the year and on the golf day that we have just had, we are sitting on just over £9,000. In July, I am doing a charity cycle that I do every year, at Millport, and I'm hoping that with that I can move the £9,000 up to £10,000 this year.
“I couldn't have done this without the hard work of our family and friends who have been amazing to me, Craig and my son Craig in getting us through this. This event every year keeps us going.”
