Police Scotland added that they are also becoming increasingly concerned as it is out of character for Leona not to be in contact.

The force said that extensive enquiries have been carried out throughout the local area in an effort to trance her whereabouts.

The 30-year-old was last seen wearing a blue scarf, blue jacket, navy jeans, black trainers and carrying a black handbag.

However, it is not known whether she is still wearing the same clothes.
