Invergordon man Shaun Banner has now been missing for two weeks - but support from the local community has kept his worried family going.
Shaun, 34, was last seen at around midnight on Saturday April 23 near Invergordon railway station, where he was captured on CCTV.
He is described as 5ft7, with short brown hair, blue eyes and of slim build.
Shaun was last seen wearing green and brown Crofter work trousers, a grey Rogue Attitude puffer-style jacket, a blue RSE work top and grey, purple and blue Nike Air Max trainers.
Since his disappearance, his family has led community efforts to search for the much-loved dad, coordinating efforts from The Place community centre in Alness as they scour the local area.
Two weeks on, Shaun's family says the community has kept them "motivated" and "focused" as they continue looking for their son, brother and partner.
In a statement signed off by relatives including mum Hannella, brother Alan and partner Bexy Ross, the family said: "Shaun has now been missing for two weeks. Two of the longest and hardest weeks of our lives.
"In the last two weeks people in our lives have never shone so bright; friends, families, colleagues, emergency services, community members, businesses and more have blown us away.
"[They] turned up in force to search for Shaun, dropped in with food, offered donations towards our search and opened their arms up for hugs.
"In the last two weeks we have had hundreds of people out on foot searching fields, woodlands, outhouses and more, hundreds of miles of beach, coastlines and shorelines searched, multiple planes, drones, helicopters, quads, dogs, boats and more out.
"I guess what we want to say is THANK YOU.
"Thank you to each and every single person for their generosity, kindness and support. You’ve lifted us up, motivated and kept us focused while coordinating our searches.
"Thank you to The Place for providing us with a base to conduct our searches and keeping us fed and watered.
"Thank you to the Emergency Community Rescue Team for helping us access resources and going over and above in your support.
"Thank you to Police Scotland for all your efforts so far searching for Shaun.
"Thank you ALL."
The family added: "Our searches for Shaun have not concluded but we don’t want your efforts to go unnoticed. Please continue to search shorelines, beaches and coasts and let us know if you see anything or contact the police using 101.
"We appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know."
Police in the Highlands have been conducting extensive searches for Shaun, including visiting the spot he was last seen near Invergordon train station and retracing his steps.
Sergeant Claire Mackenzie from Alness Police Station said last month: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Shaun’s welfare as he has not been in touch with friends and family."
