The family of Scottish rugby legend and Motor Neuron Disease (MND) campaigner Doddie Weir say they are determined to find a cure, motivated by the thousands of people still living with the deadly disease.
This comes as a team of rugby legends are cycling 555 miles from Cardiff to Edinburgh to deliver the match ball ahead of the Scotland V Wales rugby match on Saturday.
Kathy Weir and their two sons appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Friday, February 10, marking the first public interview since Doddie's death in November. With Angus and Hamish by her side, Kathy, 52, spoke of the importance of carrying on her husband’s mission to end MND through the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, the charity that carries her husband’s name.
