Darius Campbell Danesh's family has confirmed the reason he was using chloroethane, that led to his death.

The loved ones of the popular Scottish Pop Idol star said he was "suffering from chronic neck pain following a car accident in 2010” as they asked for 'love and kindness' following his passing.

The ex-Pop Idol star was found dead in his US apartment, in Rochester, Minnesota, last month at the age of 41, reports the Daily Record.
