The family of a man who tragically died in a motorbike accident on the North Coast 500 have told how he passed away doing something that "he always wanted to do".
Robbie Waddell has been named by police following the fatal smash, which took place along the A835 near Gorstan in Ross-shire on Sunday, May 15.
The 52-year-old had been driving his Honda motorbike before he collided with a Volvo XC70, close to the junction with the A832, reports the Daily Record

Emergency services raced to the scene at 8.35am and rushed the dad-of-three to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
He sadly passed away a short while later.
Following the tragedy, his heartbroken loved ones have paid tribute to the dad, who they say they will miss "tremendously".
A family statement released through Police Scotland reads: "“We are absolutely heartbroken and still in a state of shock about the passing of our dad and husband.
"He died doing something he had always wanted to do – the NC500 trip on his motorbike – and we can take comfort that the days leading up to his death would have been filled with joy.
“He leaves behind his wife, his two sons and his daughter. We will all miss him tremendously. We ask that people and the media respect our privacy during this hugely difficult time.”
Officers have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing to anybody with information to come forward.
In particular, police want to hear from people who may have dash-cam footage.

Sergeant David Miller of Dingwall Road Policing said: “Our thoughts very much remain with Robbie’s family as they come to terms with their terrible loss.
“We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information on this incident, or potential dashcam footage of the vehicles involved, to come forward."
