Family of Charmaine O'Donnell say their lives 'changed forever' after her tragic killing

The family of Charmaine O'Donnell has paid tribute to the 'beautiful' charity worker after a man was convicted of her killing.

The 25-year-old was on a day out with a friend when she was pushed from Helensburough pier into the water, causing her to suffer severe neck injuries and drown.

Jacob Foster shoved Charmaine and later claimed it was a "bit of fun". The 29-year-old was today convicted of culpable homicide following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
