The family of an adored baby girl killed by a dog in Waterford have told of their grief saying: "Our hearts are broken forever"
And the Coroner at the inquest into the death of Mia O'Connell, of Clashmore, has urged animal owners with young children to exercise extreme caution.
Cork Coroner, Philip Comyn, said that whilst dogs offer "wonderful companionship" they can "still be unpredictable" and cause serious harm.
