A stepdad with a full-time job says he is “in despair” after his family's household bills doubled to leave them relying on foodbanks.
Harry Lay, 36, is a former soldier turned full-time cleaner and lives in social housing with his wife Kittie and three stepchildren, with the family receiving universal credit.
Harry says his heating bill has doubled after it was announced that the cost of living had risen at its fastest pace in 30 years.
