A couple converted a double-decker bus into a holiday home on wheels - but loved it so much they moved their family-of-six into it full-time and now save around £1,000 each month. Conrad Kirk, 31, and his partner, Nicole McCarthy, 31, bought the 1978 Rod-Bodied Daimler Fleetline double-decker bus in September 2021 for £2,000.
The pair planned to convert the vehicle into a luxury mobile holiday home - so they wouldn't have to fork out two 140-pounds-a-night hotel rooms for accommodation on family breaks.
