The family of a young man missing from the Ballymun area of Dublin are "concerned for his wellbeing".
Sean McCarthy went missing from Poppintree on Tuesday this week. The 28-year-old was last seen in the Drumcondra area of Dublin on the same day.
He is described as being 5'8'' tall with a stocky build and blue eyes. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact Ballymun Garda station.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardai are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 28-year-old Sean McCarthy, who is missing from Popintree, Dublin since the 2nd of August, 2022. Sean was last seen in the Drumcondra area on the afternoon of Tuesday the 2nd of August. His family and An Garda Síochána are concerned for his wellbeing and trying to locate him.
"Sean is described as approximately 5’ 8” in height, of stocky build, with blue eyes and short dark hair."
Anyone with any information that can assist Gardaí in locating Sean, is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
