The false widow spider has been breeding in high numbers across Britain thanks to the scorching summer temperatures.
Described as the UK's "most venomous spider", it is thought to have arrived as a stowaway on ships from warmer climates a century ago.
It comes after a dad almost lost his finger when he was bitten during a trip to Skegness, Lincolnshire.
