Fallen lamppost injures man on Scots street as he is rushed to hospital

A man has been rushed to hospital after being injured by a fallen lamppost on a Scots street.

Emergency services were called to Kirklee Road, Glasgow, shortly after 4pm to reports of a man being injured.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
