Falkirk driver stopped with dodgy break light was already disqualified

A man stopped by cops who spotted he had a defective break light - was also ready disqualified from driving.

Officers carried out checks on the red Ford Focus ST for them to realise that the car was also wasn't insurance.

The incident happened on Etna Road in Falkirk yesterday morning.

The 28-year-old's car was then seized, and he's been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "Yesterday morning Falkirk Response officers observed this car on Etna Road, Falkirk with a defective brake light.

"The car was stopped and checks showed it was not insured and the 28 year old male driver was disqualified.

"Car seized and driver reported to the Procurator Fiscal."
