The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive lineman LaCale London and released veteran Eli Ankou from the 53-man roster, the team announced on Tuesday.
London was elevated from the practice squad for Week 7 and played well in Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 26-year-old finished the game with three tackles and a recovered fumble that was forced by linebacker Nate Landman.
53-man roster moves: The Falcons signed defensive lineman LaCale London and released defensive lineman Eli Ankou.
London must have impressed coaches enough in the last two games as a practice squad elevation to earn an active spot.
