Falcons rule out offensive lineman for Week 10 game vs. Saints

The Atlanta Falcons have ruled out starting center Drew Dalman ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Dalman was placed on the injured reserve list with an ankle sprain following the team’s Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Falcons opened Dalman’s 21-day practice window last Wednesday and despite practicing all three days this week, the veteran center will miss his seventh consecutive game. Ryan Neuzil, who’s done an admirable job filling in at center, will get another start in Week 10.

Rookie linebacker JD Bertrand (concussion) has also been ruled out for Sunday’s game. There’s still no official update on wide receiver Drake London, who was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.

London is battling a hip pointer and was limited in practice this week. The third-year wide receiver has 50 catches for 552 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season. If London can’t play, look for KhaDarel Hodge to get some extra playing time.

Make sure to out Atlanta’s midseason offensive stats with full 17-game projections for each player.
