The Atlanta Falcons are finally back in action as training camp officially begins in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Head coach Raheem Morris addressed several topics during his Thursday press conference, including the health of quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive lineman Grady Jarrett.
All players reported for the team’s first practice and while Cousins has been cleared, Morris said the QB is getting “modified reps” to ease him back into the mix from his torn Achilles. Jarrett is also back after suffering a torn ACL last season.
Fullback Robert Burns will officially start camp on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list. Watch as Morris addresses the media in his pre-camp press conference below:
