The Los Angeles Rams will need a new defensive coordinator once again. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Falcons plan to hire Raheem Morris as their next head coach.
This news comes after Morris interviewed with the team at owner Arthur Blank’s house on Tuesday and reportedly “killed the interview.”
Morris has been the Rams’ defensive coordinator for the last three years, taking over for Brandon Staley after he left to become the Chargers’ head coach.

This will be Morris’ second stint as an NFL head coach, previously spending three years with the Buccaneers from 2009-2011. He was also with the Falcons from 2015-2020, working as the assistant head coach, wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator during that time.
He took over as the interim head coach in 2020 after Dan Quinn was fired, going 4-7 in those 11 games.
