Falcons met with free-agent LB Nick Kwiatkoski, per report

The Atlanta Falcons have added over 20 players since last Thursday if you count their eight-player draft class and 13 undrafted free agents.

Despite signing Rashaan Evans and drafting Troy Andersen in the second round, the Falcons visited with free-agent linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski on Thursday, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Kwiatkoski, 28, was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2016 draft out of West Virginia. During his first four seasons with the Bears, Kwiatkoski played in 57 games with 22 starts. He spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, making 12 starts.

According to Pro Football Focus, his best season came in 2017, earning an overall defensive grade of 80.5. Kwiatkoski has 286 tackles (205 solo), seven sacks and six forced fumbles over his six-year NFL career.
