Michael Penix Jr. made an impressive NFL debut as the Atlanta Falcons cruised to a 34-7 victory over the New York Giants, boosting their playoff hopes. Penix, the rookie quarterback, showed composure and skill, completing 18 of 27 passes for 202 yards in his first start.

The Falcons' defense played a crucial role in the win, scoring two pick-6 touchdowns courtesy of Jessie Bates and Matthew Judon. This victory marked Atlanta's second consecutive win after a four-game losing streak.
