Falcons acquire DL Kentavius Street in trade with Eagles

The Atlanta Falcons have traded for Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Kentavius Street, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Monday afternoon. The Eagles are sending Street along with a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Falcons in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick.

Street, 27, has appeared in 60 games with five starts since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers. After spending three seasons with the 49ers, Street spent one season with the Saints in 2022.

The veteran defender has racked up 75 total tackles, 13 QB hits and 6.5 sacks over the last four and a half seasons. The Falcons just lost starting defensive lineman Grady Jarrett for the year and Street has experience with defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen.

UPDATE: Falcons officially announce trade with Eagles.
