The Falcons released wide receiver Xavier Malone from the practice squad on Tuesday. Malone was elevated during Week 5 but now finds himself out of a job.
Atlanta traded for WR Van Jefferson, releasing linebacker Andre Smith from the 53-man roster in a corresponding move. Smith was later added to the practice squad on Wednesday, along with WR Keilahn Harris.
